About Me

Welcome!

My name is Samantha Núñez (she/her), I also go by Sam! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Chicago providing teletherapy to adolescents 12+ and college age adults (18-25) in Illinois.

Identifying as Latinx, and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand the challenges, fears and even hesitations of starting therapy. For those reasons, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and affirming space for everyone. I come to every session with a warm and empathetic energy, always inviting my clients to show up as they are. I do this through empathetic listening, validation, and support. I tailor the therapeutic work based on the strengths and needs of the client that I am supporting and I bring a client-centered and strengths-based approach to each therapeutic relationship.

I am a firm believer that all everyone could benefit from therapy. No matter the reason, having a safe space to explore, process, and cope with life’s challenges and the emotions that are tied to them is helpful in creating a healthy and balanced life.
